There’s an intriguing exhibition on at the Cathedral - icons. They are fascinating. There’s one of the teenage Mary, one in the style or Rublev’s Trinity and then this one. It’s of Anna & Joachim, by tradition, the parents of Mary and the patron saints of grandparents. I’ve signed up for a course with the artist, a week of writing icons. Should be good.
