Admiring the view

We struck lucky with the weather today and had some great views. This one is from the top of the Ratagan Pass looking down on Kintail.
It was taken on our way over to Glenelg on The Sound of Sleat. As seems to be the case on this holiday, we were out of luck with our coffees. Ruth’s Cafe which gets great reviews was closed to the public today as a group of Americans were booked in for a meal.
We carried on the coastline to a lovely little village called Arnisdale and got out for an explore. The showers seemed to be all around us but the village was in sun.
As this is where the road ends, we retraced our route back to our cottage. By the time we pulled up the weather had completely changed with high winds and torrential rain which continued in to the night.
We slummed it at night and had pie chips and beans for tea.
