Beside the seaside

There’s nothing better than a day beside the seaside and thankfully the weather cleared up today and enabled us to drive over to Hornsea for the day.
It’s a seaside town none of us had ever visited before and it was a charming, beautiful, largely unspoilt town. A lovely promenade, traditional fish and chip shops, ice cream shops and a trail of puffins. The day certainly made up for the miserable weather we’ve had for most of the week and at least our most recent memories of the holiday will be good ones.
