No rain today

Somehow we managed to have a lazy morning, mainly because it was grey, misty and cold outside and we wanted to stay inside in the warm.  Eventually we got ourselves together and went out to stock up at the Real Food Pantry, then to the charity shop across the road to buy a mixing jug and a set of measuring cups to use for painting then to, where else, but Mitre10.  Shopping done we returned home and had cheese, crackers and apples for lunch.  

We decided that we should get out for a walk before doing anything else, so walked up the road and through a new subdivision.  We felt it wasn’t somewhere we’d like to live and were very happy with the new home we’re now living in.  We did see a very nice garden “ornament” which is today’s blip.  The grandparents among you might like the little sign to the right.

After we returned from our walk MrMacD put up some hooks in the laundry for the broom, dustpan and brush and the mop, then spent some time in the garden.  I put undercoat on the inside of the sideboard, which took longer than I anticipated.  Eventually we both made it back inside to the warm, cooked supper, then watched a mystery on MrMacD’s iPad.
