Must be preying mantis week

Per SEEK this one is a Mediterranean Mantis, I thought it would be the SE Asian variety as it did not look like one of the native variety .However it was a surprise to find a different one , also nonnative and apparently spreading. It was sitting on out garbage can just hanging out.
