On his favorite blanket

It used to be my ottoman then a succession of cats found it. Rain yesterday and today with gray skies and a chill. Tried to build a fire in the fireplace and the result was smoke billowing out of the fireplace. I poured water on it and the house smelled like wet wood and smoke for hours. Chimney guy will come Saturday to check it out.
I am currently under a blanket with a slightly numb face after asn hour at the dentist starting the new crown my wonderful husband is making soup for dinner.
