My voice

Running the first day of a two-day workshop for Turkish folks working to move their college system forward. They face many challenges and are receiving support from the EU to help move their system forward.

They heard from me about how we do particular things in Scotland and other European country approaches. My voice is in English and that needs interpreted. Begum Aykal is my interpreter and seems to do a splendid job worthy of a blip.

She was the busiest of us all today. Interpreting me to them; interpreting them to me. Sometimes the film 'Lost in Translation' came to mind.

PS All quiet out there in this part of Ankara
