Menorca Day 5

No set of holiday pictures would be complete without a nice sunset.

By now, our holiday is settling into a daily routine. Late starts after late nights. Dashes down to the pool to fling towels on recliners before they all go. Football and games of cards and pool. Leisurely lunches back in the apartment. Back to the pool which has warmed up some by the afternoon and out for a meal in the evening.

Amidst this flurry of activity I make occasional half hour forays into the surrounding wildness, although sometimes wildness joins us at the pool.

Today's bug haul: big beetle and big grasshopper.

Today's butterfly haul: Meadow Brown, Meadow Browns busy making more Meadow Browns, another gorgeous Common Blue and a lifetime first Bath White.

Sundry others: jellyfish (hence lack of sea bathing) and pretty purple flower, typical of the floral delights.
