Hanging

Up to the allotment to dump the kitchen compost and to look for any windfall apples after some blowy weather. Jo had been up at the weekend and had picked the remaining broad and green beans but the Berlotti were a late planting so there are quite a few still ripening. One of our sunflowers has produced more heads than I’ve ever seen on such a high plant, it’s the Extra, but has been getting a fair old battering in the wind so is quite a few degrees off vertical. Another storm and it may be a goner.
