Cow Parsley Seeds

It was the second week of my watercolour class, and we explored using materials such as salt, pepper, clingfilm and sponges on wet washes. It was fun, but I need to be less literal (possibly the photographer in me!) and use stronger colour washes. I started another piece at home which is looking much more abstract and interesting.

Afterwards I treated my car to a much needed wash after sitting in a windy beach carpark yesterday before taking a short walk around Hawley Meadows in search of Tiny Tuesday subjects with possible watercolour interest.  I think this image of a cow parsley seed head could fit the bill.
