The Plant Oscars

A visit to RHS Bridgewater this morning. The 5 elements of the mobility scooter all fit in the boot of the car, which is really good. And I tried out the sat nav which worked well - a 17 minute journey “door to door”.

We met up with three friends, who are all in the choir we used to be members of. The last time we had seen them was 10 days before the first lockdown in 2020, when our choir won a choral competition. It was good seeing them, we had plenty to chat about, and the weather was fab.

The photo is taken in the plant trials area, and these are all forms of hydrangea peniculata. They are all assessed by experts who choose those that can be best relied on to do well in our gardens. A kind of plant Oscars.
