One Horse Power

One of the lovely things about living in the countryside is a much more relaxed pace of life. This was nicely illustrated when I called in to the next village for some more eggs (free range £1.25 for six) and then onto Llangarron on the oustskirts of Ross on Wye, Herefordshire (England UK)

Just approaching the house that kindly leaves out apples for free was a horse and cart coming towards me and I managed to fire off a frame before they stopped for a chat.

Mid afternoon, with the sun still shining, I spent an hour cutting the lawns
before duaghter Lorna and family drop their two dogs with us for the weekend whilst they head north to Alton Towers for the weekend to meet up with son Nathan & family who are celebrating granddaughter Sofia's 3rd birthday.

Hopefully it'll stay dry as it's easier to manage the dogs - less mess!
