Birthday party

After yesterday's excitement, a quiet day. Thanks to everyone who left sympathetic messages yesterday.
Richard & Diana's cousin Florian had invited us to her 80th birthday tea party at Coombe Abbey hotel, near Coventry.
It was a lovely, amiable afternoon do, in a stunning location. Even the stresses of the motorway drive there and back weren't too bad. We caught up with various family members who we see rarely.
Parts of Coombe Abbey date back to the 12th century, other parts to Tudor times. There's even a moat.
