Lights

I was in Inveraray for dinner this evening , seeing some old colleagues who were there for tomorrow’s travelling Cabinet  - the first since before the lockdown.

It was dark when I got home and when I got out of the car to open our  gate I couldn’t but notice the interplay of various lights on the track leading into the forest.

The moon above and the car’s red tail lights behind me  , with trees on the other side  lit up by my headlights.

The only detail that I couldn't get , given what I was using to take the picture, was Jupiter as a bright dot just below the moon on its left side.   Perhaps my Nikon would have helped but it wasn't in the car - black mark for me !
