Sparrow

This probably should be called 'seize the opportunity' rather than just 'sparrow'. Earlier today when Mrs TPV went out for a meeting she rang to tell me that she had seen a good shot of horses with their foals in a field of buttercups that would be great for today's blip. Rather than go straight away, I continued to get stuck into a task on the computer which just went on and on and ...

When I did go to try and to take the picture hey had all moved off to another field! So here is a sparrow, a poor substitute (perhaps), but one that reminds me of a time when he was talking to his disciples about worrying.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? (Matthew 6:25-26 NIV)

Looking at this 'bird of the air' it certainly is colourful even though it is 'only a sparrow'.
