Flowers

I shan't call them daisies although they probably are, but whatever, they are a nice group.

Went with Moot to the vet this morning - he was a bit dopey, so I managed to pick him up and he was in the carrycase before a miaut escaped. We were first at the vet - that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who knows me - and she gave him a thorough going over and said he's sprained or twisted his knee. He probably got that from playing football or something...

Anyway, he got a large painkilling injection and a lot of pats. I got tablets to give him for the next five days. When I suggested to the vet that injections were easier, she laughed and said "hide the tablets in a bit of sausage, he'll never notice." She's right on one level, he won't notice - because he'll just ignore them and he'll give me that looks that says "what kind of half-wit do you think I am?"

In other news, quick chat tonight with G in India which was great (despite the internet connection) and I met the Quasi-Schwiegermutter (my de-facto Mother-In-Law) for dinner and a bit of a chat. She's a lovely woman.

I'm now knackered and if someone could convince Moot to eat some wet food, I'd be delighted.
