Loch Ness!

Autumn Adventure - Day 4

This morning I visited my friend again, for morning coffee at his house, along with scones and home-made plum and cinnamon jam. Very tasty!

After saying goodbye and filling up with petrol, I continued north towards Inverness. What a beautiful drive, especially as the road took me through the west side of the Cairngorms National Park.

I found a campsite that looked nice right along the eastern shore of Loch Ness, 30 minutes south of Inverness so I decided to take that small detour. I timed it perfectly - this was the beautiful sunset overlooking the loch as I drove down the narrow road to get to the campsite.
