Coal Tit

A coal tit not unsurprising in the Forest of Dean as they used to mine coal here for quite a while. What is is surprising is that I actually caught it - the only thing I caught all day - in the leaves of a tree I happened to be passing. I only got him because I heard the faintest tweet.

I headed to Cheltenham this morning which is hosting the Literary Festival and had tickets for Richard Osman interviewing Kate Atkinson. The town was heaving but in a good exciting way and the whole experience was what Cheltenham is about. I think I am now Richard Osman's number 1 fan but that is between you and me.
