Apple Weekend

We met up today with three friends who J shared a house with a long long time ago (inadvertently, this year is a very significant anniversary).

A visit in the afternoon to a nearby garden centre and nursery, which was having an apple weekend. All these apples, and the apple juice (we bought both apples and juice), are products of Witherslack Orchards, and will not be found on supermarket shelves. We eat a lot of apples, but shame to say that our usual apple of choice, delivered to us by an online supermarket retailer, is the pink lady, which is an imported variety. Food for thought, we’ll see what we think of those we bought today.,
