Doggie Paddle

On a perfect summer's day I took Hollie for a walk along a delightful lane in Beambridge, Shropshire.

The walk runs alongside the River Corve, hence the name Corvedale for the wide valley where we now live.

Hollie always enjoys a cooling dip in the river, where it meets the lane at a bend. A nice little footbridge allows pedestrians to cross the river and keep their pinkies dry.

Dogs don't bother with such niceties!

This afternoon Mrs I helped me with two car loads of rubble from the little garden project, the council recycling centre stays open till 5pm on a Sunday.

It's been a glorious sunny weekend, hope you all had the same stunning weather!
