Day 161 of 365 - Chapel Ruins in Spon Street!

Welcome to day 161 of 365 (Finished image after Editing)

The original photo was taken this afternoon in Spon Street Coventry. The image is of the Ruins of the Chapel of Saints James & Christopher. Not a lot is known about the Chapel but it is thought that it dates from the 15th Century. It was made of Sandstone and was probably a craft Chapel for the local weavers. The Ruins are classed as Grade II listed.

As always the shot was taken with my iPhone 5. The photo was taken using the camera App ExposerGL for iPhone. The original image can be found here: Unedited original Image.

First of all I used the app Handy Photo to edit the image. The edits were made by cloning away a part of the newer building behind the Chapel window. Next I used PhotoToaster to apply the Oil Paint preset to the picture. After I used the app called Mextures to apply some lighting and textures to the image. The Layers that I applied were, Vignette, Mulberry, Ford Screen, Marble Color Dodge and the Seafoam Overlay. Finally I used Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the Stirred overlay and the Cedar Texture.
