Jags

This morning I went straight into Edinburgh to get jabs for my forthcoming trip. Since I'll be staying in hotels in major cities, I decided not to get rabies or typhoid jabs. My well travelled yellow fever certificate from 1992 is still valid, I'm not vulnerable to hepatitis B, and I should be able to avoid mosquitoes. Hence I paid up for tetanus and hepatitis A.

In work I compiled my slides for a talk on Monday, and started work on a couple of issues in our software. This was interrupted by lunch - eaten with my old colleague K - and a meeting with our researcher, F.

Autumn has come to the campus and, by the time I return, I expect the trees to be bare.
