Mesmerizing

Watching a fire can be mesmerizing, relaxing, or exciting when it is controlled in a safe enclosure. 

Can you see the flaming rising upward? Perhaps you could say something was making them raise their fingers out of the logs. Do you see the waves of heat above the flames? The camera captured what I didn't see while I enjoyed the fire. It looks like swirls of heat to me in the photo. Fascinating photo in Black and White. Good for the MM challenge of raze/raise/rays. We are still at the beach. Today started out rainy but turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. We will go home tomorrow. Our daughter invited her daughter over today; they are having a wonderful day baking goodies together at our home in Portland. Nice they have the house all to themselves today.
