Strange and Furry!

This little bowl sits on my hearth and I collect rose petals to put in it to dry when I see a rose head dropping. I’ve done it for many years often putting a news lot of petals on top of the previous ones that have dried, it has a nice scent and just extends the rose ‘life’ a little longer.

I glanced at it yesterday and thought it looked rather odd. A bit fuzzy. It seems that I have grown a rather hairy fungus! This has never occurred before.

Ideal for a macro shot for today’s Tiny Tuesday before it went in the bin!

Usual Pilates this morning with garden centre lunch to follow. Turned into another warming day, can’t think it will last much longer!
