Bar Tailed Godwit #63

It was very windy today, but thankfully dry. We went to Boulmer beach along the coast for a walk and some bird-watching. There were plenty of birds about including some Bar-tailed Godwits that were looking splendid in the sunshine. We don't get many of these back home, mostly they are Black Tailed Godwits that we see. 
After we'd done our daily step count, we went to the Jolly Fisherman at Craster for lunch and then had another walk along the beach at Low Newton. 
My favourite type of day in Northumberland :)
