Kawaii

Construction companies in Japan use cute construction signs known ‘character  barricades.’  Every company uses different designs - all of them adorable. Like the ones in my photo, the characters are usually bowing in order to ask forgiveness for any trouble the construction might cause. One theory is that they have a calming effect and can reduce road rage!
