Bus Pass Walk

A lovely day for a walk - lovely and warm for October. We followed P & B's lead today as the towpath between 5 Rise Locks and the rowing club swing bridge is closed until the end of October for resurfacing.  We caught 2 buses and alighted near East Riddlesden Hall.  The chance of a coffee is always too good to miss, so we called into the cafe there - probably the last time we will get there before it closes for the winter. We walked back along the canal until the diversion, then went via a new to us pathway past Bingley Bog which brought us out at 3 Rise Locks.  Back into Bingley for refreshments before calling at the Arts Centre for tickets for our Christmas Concert (selling well and tickets only went on sale yesterday) then one bus home. Took quite a few photos today as there were lots of reflections in the canal, but I preferred this one of the lovely lake at East Riddlesden Hall with the hall in the background
