Simeon Squirrel

I was in the back garden, feeding the koi, when I heard what sounded almost but not entirely unlike a duck quacking... I couldn't locate it, and after I'd finished with the fishy breakfast I wandered into the front garden.

This squirrel was barking at everyone and everything nearby, running along the telephone wires making an awful racket. Clearly in distress, it ran at any bird, no matter starling or pigeon, that dared perch on the wires.

Maybe it had lost a kit, or had one taken. Anyhow, the sky, as you can see, was not blue today. The weather's on the change and currently it is lashing down out there. But I'm in here, counting all the blessings.
