Young V&A

This evening we went to the opening of Young V&A’s first exhibition in Bethnal Green: Japan - Myths to Manga. The exhibition was opened by a virtuoso display of Japanese drumming by 4 slight but strong girls. I wish I could post for you the video I made - you would have to turn the volume down! The exhibition itself, about Japan’s sky, seas, forests (extra) and cities, is aimed at children of all ages. MrHCB and I wandered from cartoon to delightful cartoon with big smiles on our faces.
