Flower Friday

After yesterday ‘s glorious sunny weather we have had a miserable wet day.
A visit to the farm shop this morning and we haven’t been out since.
I spent some time on our click and collect order which we will pick up on Sunday morning.
Hopefully tomorrow is set to be fine as I need to plant the bulbs.

We did have an enjoyable lunch. Some of the cheese and charcuterie we purchased yesterday with pickled onions and chutney.
Our last jar if pickles but have just bought some more onions. Now have the job of peeling them all!

The cheeses we had were all English:
Baron Bigod Brie. Made from French bred Montbeliarde cows on a farm in Bungay, Suffolk.
Leeds Blue. A sheep’s milk cheese made in Otley.
Sparkenhoe vintage Red Leicester from Market Bosworth.
Neil’s Yard Farm Finn double creamy cheese from Herefordshire.

The flower Friday photo is our creamy yellow honeysuckle which has been flowering nonstop since May. (Grown from a sprig brought back from Cley, Norfolk many years ago.)
