Car park view

Into Huddersfield to the bank with MrM this morning. We parked in a multi-storey, and this was the view from where we left the van - the Oastler Building that houses part of the University of Huddersfield. As well as being an interesting architectural feature, the 'brise soleil' fins are designed to provide shade.

On the way home a quick trip to a big supermarket to buy spices for MrM's curries. As we were about to drive out of the car park, a call from the bank's fraud department to make sure that we hadn't been persuaded by a scammer to make this morning's transaction. All very well, but the young lady on the phone had to go through an entire scripted conversation, which took 30 minutes. We daren't leave the car park in case the signal cut out, so we were stuck there for the duration. By the time MrM had driven through traffic hell, we got back to Holmfirth only just in time for my hair appointment.
