Tulips …..

….. ….. ….. alongside a pathway. Love the colours.

With the election last night, the All Blacks taking on Ireland in the rugby World Cup this morning, and then a fund raiser brunch for the local Fire Brigade, it’s been a busy time!

The election revealed a massive swing away from the left to the right. Our MMP system is leaving the final result hanging, and we won’t know the final configuration of the Government for a few weeks. However, people voted for change, and they’ve got it. In my book it was needed.

The All Blacks thrilled us Kiwis by beating Ireland 28-24.
The end was a cliffhanger; so exciting. Hard on the Irish though. The ABs will now advance to the semifinals.

And the fundraiser went very well and the Fire Brigade guys were stoked. The money will go towards their new emergency vehicle which is very much needed. I think that about $6,000 was raised - what a great effort by all those here who put their time and energies into making it successful.

It’s cold out - fresh snow last night and more to come.
