Anular Eclipse

Yesterday we were almost on the direct path for this anular eclipse.  We visited San Antonio with my schoolfriend Chris earlier in the week, which was in the direct path for 100%, but this was pretty close at about 83% of the eclipse.  We sat outside BG in Fort Worth and I spent a good 15 minutes with my camera trying to capture this and in the end used the special eclipse glasses we had bought in front of the lens to finally produce this.  The grandkids also came over and were able to marvel at this rare occurrence.  In April next year we are due to be on the direct path of a full eclipse, so the glasses will come in handy again if we don't lose them in the meantime!
