My topsy-turvy life

Bumper harvest

A lovely crisp, autumnal Sunday.
After an early morning run, a bout of football at Kickstars and some lunch, Owen and me headed off to Attingham Park because "we've not been there for ages".

We took the lightsabers amid Owen's instructions that we would have to have a battle on the hill. As it turned out, there were actually loads of other kids to run around with at the Field of Play so I was relegated to spectating, but we did get to use the lightsabers to help knock some chestnuts out of the big sweet chestnut tree on the way. Owen was very pleased with his haul of 5 and I was given the precarious task of keeping them safe for him to take home.
