We met up with friends Steve & Julia at 10.45am at Talybont on Usk, Powys (Mid Wales UK) to cycle the 8 miles into Brecon town, as we'd previously done the whole canal from Pontypool, and had run out of time.

We had a good couple of hours in Brecon town, with a lot of shops shut as they don't open Monday's!  It was very chilly and I'm glad I put a fleece on under my cycle jacket - even the thin gloves came out!

About 4.30pm we arrived at the daughters house in Cwmbran as today is granddaughter Amelia's 6th birthday. She had her main party with schoolfriends yesterday at Raglan Farm Park, and today was some family and close friends.
