Miles apart

FK left at 7am to travel to North Wales for his Geography trip. They're also going to Liverpool. He's very tired already and it's going to be long days with class after dinner in the evening. I worry for him as when he's overtired, the red mist sometimes comes down. I miss him already.
MrK and I wrapped up and went for a walk, bumping into Mickey and Sue for a chat before heading to A Canteen for Sunday roast. It was noisy and a little unsettling, but the food was superb. We talked about Christmas. It's going to be difficult. 
When we came out, there were three police cars parked outside. That unsettles me!
Got back home and sat in front of the patio doors reading papers and soaking up the sun.
