Fairy Fingers

The day began with water coming up through the bathroom floor. It seems that the pipe taking water from the cistern into the toilet had become uncoupled. A plumber was required. All is well now but, when the floor dries out, I need to do some carpentry to rebuild the wooden cabinet that houses the cistern. The rest of the day was also dominated by water. Heavy rain meant two very wet spaniel walks. I saw several clumps of White Spindles - also known as 'Fairy Fingers' - mostly hidden in long grass that made them too difficult to photograph. This was the best I could manage.
