Cygnets feeding

It's been a nice day in spite of not much sun and a cold wind.  I went to meet Alison and Shona at Lochend for morning coffee and the usual good gossip and was presented with birthday cards  which was a nice surprise. My birthday wasn't made much of as a child as my father was ill for about two years and died three days before my tenth birthday.  However today I  shopped in Marks on the way home and bought a few treats then went to Birnie to photograph the swans. i was glad to get home as it was cold and still very windy.
