Wet

It rained all night and most of the day. Only now, just before sunset, the clouds opened up and a little bit of sunshine brightened the garden, and the wet nasturtium.

For some reason, I couldn’t fall asleep last night, and heard the distinctive calls of cranes just after 1 a.m. - the first ones to come our way on their migration route, this autumn. I guess they were fleeing from the horrible storms around the Baltic Sea.
