A Dingle Day

We began our tour of the Dingle Peninsula with a tour of the Dingle Distillery which definitely got us off to a good start.  That was followed by a walk through the town of Dingle which was having a Food Festival and was very crowded.

After lunch we drove off to the Slea Head Drive with a few stops along the way, one including a Fairy Fort also known as the Lios Stone Circle.  It was surrounded by lots of animals, part of the tourist attraction apparently.  These two critters caught my eye as they stood out from all the small sheep, pigs and ponies.  The scenery along the Dingle Peninisula was magnificent and the weather varied from sunny with white clouds to turbulent...as it always seems so here.  We ended the afternoon with a drive through the Conor Pass and then back through Tralee and to Killarney for a  pub dinner and bed.
