Life Savors

On Guard

We said goodbye to Killarney and headed north, taking a ferry across the Shannon to the Burran.  We stopped for a sheep dog demonstration at the Catherconnell Ring Fort which was so very entertaining and amazing to watch. Another stop at the Poulnabrone Dolman Tomb before getting to our hotel at Spanish Point on the wild Atlantic way.  (see extra)  As soon as we checked in, I took a walk along the ocean and got this lovely view of the hotel with a little bit if sunset.  This area and hotel got is name because one of the ships of the Spanish Armada wrecked here along the coast.

It was again a blustery, cloudy day with occasional episodes of showers, but we were prepared. At the very beginning of the trip we vowed that the weather would not impact our enjoyment and it has not.
