Lizard Hunter

This is our neighborhood Great Egret. Last December I posted photos of her hunting brown anoles (What's For Breakfast) and today she was back. She hopped/flew along the top of this hedge hunting for her favorite snack. The Big White Dog and I were were hungry for breakfast ourselves so we moved on, but I'm sure that she snagged at least a couple of the 'tasty lizards' after we left her.
