Wound up in Wexford

Pikemen

Another sculpture erected in 1998 to commemorate a battle during the 1798 rebellion.  We drive past this on the N25 every time we visit Wexford, or beyond.  At night it is illuminated by rather lurid green and pink lights.

I drove down to Murntown for an orchestral rehearsal afternoon, and as it was still quite bright, with blue skies, and as the clocks go back next weekend, I stopped on the way back to get a photo.

W, overcoming his still persisting head cold, cooked a veg soup/stew for dinner, with flatbreads to Mr A's recipe - these are definitely more to my taste than the lentil flatbreads.
