A Pair of Rosehips

I suppose I might not call these a "pair" except that today's challenge for Mono Monday is pare/pair/pear. I thought about walking to a friend's pear tree, and I thought of a peeler (paring the peel of a carrot)...but then I had already taken a photo of the transformation of the climbing roses and thought the rosehips would make a good black & white photo. So, this pair of rosehips represents the paring away of the rose petals on my climbing rosebush. 

Today is beautiful but here I am at my computer...time to go out and enjoy this beautiful day. Perhaps a walk to the lake? Yes, maybe.
