Stunning skies at Manchester airport tonight. We've had a very pleasant day, slept well and woke to find I'd had an automatic refund of yesterday's train tickets and the Seatfrog upgrade too . The hotel gave us a late check out till 2pm which was nice.
We made our way to the airport in the knowledge that our plane was delayed by two hours. We now arrive at horrible oclock in the morning.
I've never seen an airport as quiet as Manchester is, security took about 2 minutes, see extra. Now we are rattling about till take off in about two hours.
Lovely sky to look at though.
