Here it comes...

The change is upon us... Perhaps this year it will be a swift transition from green branches to bare, but at Westonbirt Arboretum the colours are coming into play amongst the Acers and other deciduous trees. 

I liked this shot where the highlight metering has dropped everything but the sunlit canopy into semi-darkness. (also, some vignetting helped too).

It's about now that the S.A.D. lamp and vitamin D come into play, but if you want excitement the world's first bungee jumper died recently aged 78. His family allegedly said he'd been hanging around for ages...
