Mary passed away this morning sometime. Her twin sister phoned to tell me, which was good of her as she could've just messaged, but she knew we were good friends. 

We weren't just good friends though, she was my first climbing partner after SteveB and I split, we did loads of stuff together and she saved me from serious damage!

I informed the mountaineering club, went for a short walk and then fell down the that's my Mary rabbit hole. She will be sorely missed.
