The Artist's Eye

Manhattan Sunrise

We woke early today to catch a Lyft to JFK Airport for our flight to Seattle. The flight was easy with quite a bit more talking with the guy sitting in our row with us than I had expected. But he was a nice man so no worries. We caught the early shuttle and were home by 6:30 pm. Last leg was a taxi ride home. We stowed our bags at Shelly’s and went to our local hamburger place called “The Filling Station.” The cats were happy to see us, especially Cory who wound sinuously and continuously around my ankles asking in his high voice for lots of affection. We watched some TV and now are heading to bed. We had a great trip.
