The Gardeners Have Been Again Today

Today’s picture is of one of our borders after the gardeners had been; the before picture is an extra. The bark has been re-laid and one of the shrubs has been cut back; they also did a lot of other work in different parts of the garden.
 
In the “before” picture you can see that an animal has been playing in the border, moving the bark chippings and the membrane.
 
The temperature at noon today was twelve degrees Celsius. We had heavy rain first thing and then the sun came out for a while.
