A very long read!

I have eventually finished reading this book. At over 700 pages it was one of the longest I have read in a long time. 
It is the final book in a series and revealed lots about aspects in the others. Unfortunately the author Lucinda Riley died before she had written this final book, however she had concieved the whole series at the outset about ten years ago. Her son wrote a lot of this final book and I did find the style a bit different. I had really enjoyed the previous books but found this rather long winded and a a bit disappointing.

After the heavy rain this morning we decided to give Libby a trim and a bath. She was very good and now looks much better.

Our daughter and family came over this afternoon as its half term, they had been away for a few days to Gloucester .
